Dr. Otto Gibbs

Introducing Dr. Otto Gibbs, a distinguished Board-Certified Endocrinologist renowned for his expertise in diagnosing and treating diabetes and thyroid diseases. Dr. Gibbs has a rich academic background, with numerous publications in esteemed journals such as the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and Journal of Endocrine Society, highlighting his dedication to advancing the field. He completed residency training at Englewood Hospital and Hackensack University Medical Center, institutions recognized for their excellence in patient care. He served as an Endocrinologist at the Medical University of South Carolina, and his experience extended to working with US Veterans at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Hospital in Charleston SC.

Dr. Gibbs has returned to the Bahamas to offer his expertise to the local community and is currently practicing at Doctors Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital.

Dr. Gibbs’ dedication to excellence is further exemplified by his proficiency and commanding knowledge of the latest technology in Diabetes including all Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitors —-a testament to his commitment to providing cutting-edge care to his patients. Dr. Gibbs also has a special focus on All things Thyroid and has a wealth of experience and skill in Neck Ultrasonography and Thyroid Biopsy—for evaluations of thyroid nodules, cysts and cancer.
